Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash Morgan, actress and board member of SSC since 2011. She is the founder and co-artistic director and artistic director of the newly formed theatre company Speech of Fire. She worked as the Artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 through the year 2019. While Artistic Director of SSC she also served as the company's producer costume/set designer writer/music director as well as a text coach. While she was usually at the front of an acting troupe, in her last season at SSC, she became a director as well as a lighting designer. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. As well as her acting work, she's also associated with several game show. She was raised with twins and siblings within Walnut Creek, Stanford and by Richard F. Post's wife, poetess Marylee Post. She studied at Las Lomas High School where she was a cheerleader. She went to Pomona College for a short duration and graduated at Lewis & Clark College, both in Oregon. Post previously married Stephen Knox. From 1982, she's been married to writer/actor Michael A. Ross with who has twin daughters. An amazing actress, and a wonderful wife and mother. Post is an inspiration for many from Hollywood.
